Story
Tara
Tara is a mother of two wonderful children, wife to an incredible husband, Michael, and a lifelong advocate for family, faith, and intentional living. She earned her degree in Business Administration from Boston University and went on to practice law after graduating from New York Law School. Initially focusing on real estate, corporations and estate planning, her legal path ultimately led her to the deeply meaningful work of representing abused and neglected children in New York City for nearly 15 years.

After relocating to Florida, Tara noticed a significant gap in educational opportunities that aligned with their family values. This inspired her to pursue certification in elementary Montessori education and begin homeschooling her children. That experience opened her eyes to the disconnect between traditional school structures and family life, and led her to create a small, Montessori-inspired learning center—an extension of their values that has grown into a beautiful, thriving community.

Rooted in her Catholic upbringing and Italian heritage, I’ve always embraced a holistic lifestyle—avoiding toxins, honoring natural remedies, and holding deep gratitude for the gifts of nature. She believes there are many ways to connect with God, just as there are many ways to nourish the body. In a world that often devalues the family and places too much faith in institutions, she and her husband founded The House of Natural Living to return to what matters most: faith, family, and natural wisdom.

Together, they’re rethinking how we live—what we eat, how we raise and educate our children, what we place in and around our bodies, and how we connect with our Creator.

Michael
Michael is a devoted husband, loving father, and skilled tradesman whose Italian roots and Catholic upbringing have deeply shaped his values and way of life. As a licensed plumber with years of hands-on experience, he brings not only craftsmanship and practical skill to every project, but also a deep reverence for the home as a sacred space where family and faith are nurtured.

Since the beginning of our life together, Michael has embraced a fully organic, toxin-free lifestyle—long before it became mainstream. He believes in working with his hands, trusting in God’s natural design, and building a life of simplicity, honesty, and intention. Michael is also deeply committed to personal sovereignty and autonomy from institutional systems that seek to dictate how families live, raise their children, and care for their health. He champions the freedom to live in alignment with nature, faith, and ancestral wisdom—unburdened by imposed structures that do not serve the soul.

As a co-founder of The House of Natural Living, Michael is passionate about reclaiming old-world traditions, promoting self-sufficiency, and helping others rediscover the power of living close to the earth, close to family, and close to God.
